As some of you may or may not know, I have been a machine working my behind off. I have a lot of things going on at the moment. My older sister is getting married next month. She asked me to design her jewelry for the wedding party. It will be a limited edition just for her wedding, and will not be recreated. But alas as with all my custom orders, it's proving to be elusive. I have some ideas and will post the final product up for everyone. In case you are curious.
I was also invited by Matt
Swinney (Founder of
Launch 787) from
Austin Fashion Week to participate in this year's event. I was VERY flattered to say the least.
Today was the day for submission of logo's, and 5 pictures that best represented my work. Since we all know I have a Jekyll and Hyde style, I choose a few of my more recent pieces that I am most proud of.
BUT!!!! Now I have to decide what to make for the "sample" submission. Thoughts? Suggestions? Comments?
For your viewing pleasure here are the images I sent to dear old Matt.

Congrats!
Maybe one of your Purgatory pieces? They're stunning and I always saw them as a "symbol" of your store. I feel like given what you've posted about the significance of skulls in your work before and given the prevalence of them in your pieces, it seems like an ideal choice.
On the other hand, if you're not sure a skull themed piece is the best for this type of show, maybe a rope necklace? Your winged and lock necklaces are also pretty signature and memorable pieces.
Just a few cents from a buyer. :) Good luck!
Absolutely agree with a Purgatory piece, the Seraph, Chaos Theory and the Noir Puppet seem like staples to me.
But in the name of fashion it always depends! Go with your gut and submit what you want to!
I would be absolutely excited, Congrats and I cant wait to see what you conjure up for a wedding.
This is great news!! so happy for you! How about one of your cuffs...say Mayhem from the Hedonist collection. The brass one is a beauty and you do not see many skull jewelry pieces done in brass. The dark brass has a nice rich patina look to it, an antique feel.
Personally I don't know how you can decide because everything is so exceptional. Irregardless of which pieces you decide to showcase I know you will do well.
All my best to you!
